A Propos of the Wet Snow

I have been visiting New Mexico almost my entire life. Typically my visits are limited to northern New Mexico around Santa Fe and Taos. The drive from Santa Fe into the mountains by Taos is quite solitary and therefore quite lovely. Little towns are sprinkled along the route with various little shops and small diners. At one point, at the one of these typical little towns you come across what looks to be a gas station stuck in time. Unfortunately it was closed when I arrived, but was lucky enough that I was still able to walk around. Upon further inspection this place is advertised as a gas-station museum, although in reality, it seemed more like a gas pump graveyard. Around 100 old, rusty, broken gas pumps were neatly organized in rows to the side of the station which is photographed here. I chose this one because although the focus is on the 3 main pumps, behind to the left you can see some of the ones that been put aside. And yes, you can pump actual gas from the 3 pumps pictured.
